                                                                                                                                                                “我在美竹凉子堂主那里曾经见过临摹图,《天王送子图》又名《释迦降生图》描绘佛祖释迦牟尼降生为悉达王子后,其父净饭王和摩耶夫人抱着他去朝拜大自在天神庙时诸神向他礼拜的故事。”金泽文子娓娓道来,“此图写异域故事,而画中的人、鬼神、兽等却完全加以中国化、道教化,当是佛教与中国本土变化至唐日趋融合之势所致。此图意象繁富,以释迦降生为中心,天地诸界情状历历在目,技艺高超,想象奇特,令人神驰目眩。
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           图中天王按膝端坐,怒视奔来的神兽,一个卫士拼命牵住兽的缰索,另一卫土拔剑相向,共同将其制服。天王背后,侍女磨墨、女臣持笏秉笔,记载这一大事。这是一部分内容。
                                                                                                                                                                净饭王抱持圣婴,稳步前行。王后拱手相随,侍者肩扇在后,这是又一部分内容。
                                                                                                                                                                美竹凉子堂主曾听教主说过,就这两部分来看,激烈与平和,怪异与常态,天上与人间,高贵与卑微,疏与密,动与静,喜与怒,爱与恨,构成比照映衬又处处交融相合。
                                                                                                                                                                天女捧炉、鬼怪玩蛇、神兽伏拜的另一部分内容,则将故事的发展表现出了层次,通过外物的映衬将主要人物的内在心态很好地表现出来。至于其中蕴涵了什么神奇的秘密,堂主说教主也参悟不透,对原画是梦寐以求!不想,现在这幅价值连城的宝画居然落在了我们武藤家了!”
                                                                                                                                                                阿飞刚才也看出画卷中人物神情动作、鬼怪、神龙、狮象等都描绘得极富神韵,略具夸张意味的造型更显出作者“出深意于法度之中,寄妙理于豪放之外”的艺术追求和艺术趣味。却不料,其中真的蕴涵着“深意”
